Steps For Hard Resetting Dell Venue 7 3740 :

1. Boot Your Device In To "Droid Boot Mode" by pressing "Power Key + Volume Down" untill "Dell logo shown OR Dell splash screen"

2 .Navigate to "Recovery Menu" from droid Boot mode  ["Volume + , Volume - " as navigation keys ] on droid boot mode use ["power key " as Selection Key]

3. Then the Device Will rebooted to Recovery mode.You will Find the "Android guy laying down" and you wont find the recovery menu [To get the recovery menu"Press Vol+ & Power Key Once"]

4. Then Go to "Wipe data factory reset " and Wipe Out the device

5. Thats all ! Voilla ! you have bypass the Password protection on your device....
