How To Update Lenovo A6000/Plus To Android Nougat 7.1.1 [CM14.1]

Steps To Install CM14.1 On LENOVO A6000/PLUS

Pre-Requirements:

1. Lenovo A6000/Plus Device
2. TWRP Recovery Installed
3. CM14.1.Zip 
4. Open Gapps.zip
5. Device Must Be Charged Up To 50-60%
6. A Micro SD card [Memory Card]
7. Current OS Or ROM Backup [Nandroid Backup]

Step 1 :

• Your Device Must Have Any Custom Recovery Like TWRP Or Philz Touch or CWM Recovery Installed. We Recommends To Use TWRP Recovery

[Tip] : To Install TWRP Please See the "Video Guide Section" Below

Step 2 :

• Download The CM14.1.zip file from Below Links and Place On Your SD Card

Step 3 :

• Download The OpenGapps.zip file from Below Links and Place On Your SD Card

[Tip] : We Recommended To Use OpenGapps-Pico.zip

Step 4 :

Booting In To TWRP

• Boot Your Device in to TWRP Recovery mode By Pressing these combo keys [Vol+,Powerkey] at the same time or Hold Untill Lenovo Splash Screen Seen.
• Afterwards it would boot your device into TWRP Recovery mode.

Step 5 :

Nandroid Backup

• Go To "Back Up" Option "Check or Select All " and Go to "Select Storage" and Choose "Micro SD"and "Swipe To BackUp" . 
• Now We have Successfully Done Our Current ROM Backup [Nandroid Backup]

[Tip] : We Recommended To Use "External Storage Or Memory card" As Backup Location.

Step 6 :

Wiping Or Erasing Device Datas

• Then Go To "Wipe" Option 
• "Check or Select Cache,Delvick cache,Data,System" . "Swipe To Confirm Wipe". 
• Then Go Back "Swipe Factroy Reset " 

OOPS !!This Would be the Important Step Because We have Erased All the Data From Our Device and Your Device Doesn't having Anything Even We have erased the "OS" So Do [Nandroid Backup Before] To nandroid BackUp Your Device See Step 5.

[Tip] : We Recommended To DO NANDROID BACKUP Before Proceeding Step 6....

Step 7 :

Flashing CM14.1.zip ROM

1. Go To "Install" Option,
2. Find Out The Downloaded OPENGAPSS-PICO.zip file
3. "Swipe To Confirm Flash"

Now It Will Start the Flashing Process and It would be take 5-10 mins to complete.

[Tip] : Place CM14.1.zip In "Micro SD Card Or Memory Card"

Step 8 :

Flashing OPENGAPPS.zip

1. Go To "Install" Option,
2. Find Out The Downloaded OPENGAPSS-PICO.zip file
3. "Swipe To Confirm Flash"

Now It Will Start the Flashing Process and It would be take 5-10 mins to complete.

[Tip] : Place OpenGapps.zip In "Micro SD Card Or Memory Card"

Step 9 :

• Reboot System

Note : First Booting Would take Aroundly 10-15 min You have To be patience To Complete the First Booting procees Don't Interrupt Device While Booting

Step 10 :

Voilla ! You have Flashed the CM14.1 Android Nougat 7.1.1 Rom On Your Lenovo A6000/Plus
